WEBSITE www.himensshed.org.uk <http://www.himensshed.org.uk/> refreshed for 2026.

June sees the start of our annual appeal for financial donations. Without your generosity we would find it very difficult to continue suppoting the men of Hayling Island in our Shed. We try very hard :
  – To provide a meeting centre dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our members.
  – To combat loneliness and isolation.
  – For members to be part of a group of likeminded others and enjoy the benefits the Shed has to offer, in a safe and friendly environment.

As part of our 2026 drive our New Website is now active, www.himensshed.org.uk. On the website you can find,
+ About us. A summary of our purpose for being,
+ Gallery. All the latest photographs of the shed and around the Island.
+ Events. Details of our special functions (such as the Autumn auction)
+ News. Stories of special interest or very special items we craft.
+ Items  Items from our Workshop or Craft centre available to you NOW.
 Available
+ Contact. The many ways you can reach us.
Over the next few weeks we shall fine tune the website and the information on it; please visit regularly. We shall try and make a unique hand made item available monthly (on the Items Available page). In June the item of the month was a garden arbor, one of the largest items we have ever made. Our July, our unique item will be identified by the time this edition of the Herald is circulated (it is likely to be the almost finished potting table (pictured).

If you are business, or an individual, and feel you can support us financially with a gift, or in any other way, please get in touch, we, and the men  we support, will be very grateful
